The area around Saint Emilion has a reasonable claim on being one of the most beautiful in France (and that is saying something!) Saint Emilion is a jewel of a town (very discovered by tourists) and this local is about a 5 minute drive outside that town and smack dab in the middle of some of the best vineyards in the world. Add to that, you’re nearly as close to Libourne, and an easy train ride from there to Bordeaux
